Location is the best - everything is very close and convenient ! Also the sevces at the conciege was fantastic !!!
High speed Internet connection was charged on the access basis. No wireless LAN.
The facility was within walking distance of the wharf and the trolley cars, as well as many fabulous restaurants. The conceriege was more than able and helpful. The bell cpatain, abel, was expecially helpful , even to making a call to see about dinner reservation. Food service was great, timely, and courteous. Everyhting about the experience was exceptional.
The cleaners were all very friendly and rooms were cleaned to a high standard.
Alot so I will save that for the complaints department!!
The staff on the first couple of days was very helpful. Toward the end of our trip the service declined
The hotel was under contruction and the quality of the towels and bathrooms in the hotel were not typical of the a Marriott. It was lower quality.
No towel bars, no shower cap
Location. Ideally suited for experiencing Fishermans wharf, Alcatraz trips, cable cars etc.
The hotel location was greta and enabled us to see san Francisco without a car very easily..
There was no swimming pool.
The rooms were clean and service by yhe staffs were good
Basic facilities like WiFi and parking (strictly for guest) should be complimentary. In our return trip from Yosemite we checked into Radison and were so pleasantly surprised when both of these were provided complimentary to us. Pls consider this especially to guest from overseas having to pay USD45 for a day rate parking and exhorbitant int roaming bills to their mobile provider... A simple complimentary WiFi goes a long way.
Location was perfect, besides not having power in the hotel for a minute everything was great.
Parking fee was a killer, they should give you a discount or something. I also notice that the hotel charged me twice but besides all that it was a great clean place.
The location is ideal for a quick visit
The reception staff were dismissive when I mentioned the vibration in the room of air con and fridge in cupboard.Changed rooms for an equally noisy room with additional noisy vibrating vending machines out side.Must be an issue throughout the hotel and with the staff
Great location only a few minutes walk from Fisherman's Warf, cable car lines and Ghiradelli Square. Rooms are spacious, with comfortable furnishings and appear to have been recently renovated. Staff is very professional, helpful and friendly.
Installing dual-pane windows would really go a long way toward a good night's sleep. The hotel can't control the noise that occurs outside its property, but any guests who stay in rooms which do not look upon the interior courtyard should consider using ear plugs.
Location is great.Valet parking expensive but very good service.
Not a great view from our room. Room a little small.
The room was clean, everyone was friendly and I left my sweater there. I went back a few days later to see if it was still there and the hotel staff thankfully bagged it for me. I greatly appreciated this since it was a my favorite sweater and I could not get another like this one.
I didn't like the fact that if you wanted to use the "free" wifi you had to leave the comfort of your room and go to the lobby.
The personnel's readinness to help.
The fact that you pay too much money for hat you get (internet costs, breakfast prices are really high..)
This Marriott had a crisp clean feel as soon as you walked in. We wished we could take the bed home it was really comfortable. Close to Fisherman's Wharf, cable cars, Chinatown, bus to Palace of Fine Arts and Presidio . Staff was courteous and efficient.
